My dad got me into METAL DETECTING at a very young age and I’ve never stopped. It’s an activity anyone can enjoy, and there’s nothing like the buzz of hearing a good signal and unearthing something unexpected. Over the years I’ve used the MANTICORE, X-TERRA SERIES, EQUINOX SERIES, and EXCALIBUR II, and each one has helped me grow as a DETECTORIST. My favourite find so far is an 1807 Draped Bust large cent I recovered in Boise, Idaho. It’s the oldest US coin I’ve ever found and a reminder that there’s still history waiting just below the surface.
